Teaching & Learning Services and the Academy of Distinguished Teaching Scholars are partnering to host a day-long celebration of UTSA’s non-tenure-track faculty! Let’s face it — our non-tenure-track faculty (commonly called “adjuncts”) teach some of the university’s largest courses and are often the first college professors our freshmen encounter. Plenty of our NTTs teach full-time but many of them only teach part-time at UTSA, balancing one or two courses here with another job (or several other) elsewhere. Non-tenure-track faculty make up about half of UTSA’s teaching faculty and ALL NTTs play an integral part in our student and institutional success.
That said, we appreciate you! Join us Friday, January 26, 2018 any time between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the Faculty Center (4th Floor of John Peace Library) for free food, prizes, good feels, and the opportunity to take your professional headshot. No RSVP necessary, just drop in when you can!
