Spring semester updates & COVID info Roadrunner Roadmap

In our consultations, conversations with faculty inevitably steer toward concerns about time and the challenges of change. As we begin a new semester and a new year, I encourage you to think about the power of one. One change. One student. One day. One faculty member.

One change – what one small change could you make to your course that would improve student learning and success?

One student – commit to keeping one under-performing or absentee student on track

One day – find one day in your class to have fun with your student

One faculty member – reach out to one fellow faculty for a coffee, a lunch, or a walk around campus.

Not sure where to start?  Try attending our NTT & Adjunct appreciation day on Friday, January 26 from 9 to 4!  We’ll have food all day in the Faculty Center and head shot opportunities for those who need a new look for social media.  All UTSA faculty are welcome.  Bring a friend and celebrate teaching.

Start your New Year off by embracing and committing to the power of one!
