Frances comes to UTSA with extensive teaching experience, both at the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as 20 years of course design experience of F2F, hybrid and fully online courses. Frances has been a consultant for MN Department of Education, and several higher education institutions. She is actively involved in task design, teacher development, technology enhanced teaching and learning, and online teaching.
She has a BA in Hispanic Studies from the University of Puerto Rico- Mayagüez and a MA and PhD in Spanish American literature from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
