“We are sun and moon, dear friend; we are sea and land.
It is not our purpose to become each other; it is to recognize each other,
to learn to see the other and honor him for what he is:
each the other’s opposite and complement.” – Hermann Hesse

When people ask what I love about my job, the answer inevitably revolves around the people. Faculty at UTSA come together to support, celebrate, and teach one another. On January 26, the Teaching and Learning Services and the Academy of Distinguished Teaching Scholars (ADTS) hosted a daylong celebration of our NTT Faculty on the Main campus. Faculty from across the University came together to eat, talk, laugh, and learn with their colleagues. Student messages of gratitude were posted throughout the day to demonstrate how many lives faculty touch.  The Downtown Campus celebration, planned for February 28, will provide even more opportunities to engage our faculty.  Additionally, TLS is offering numerous workshops and events featuring our own in-house expertise.  We invite you to join us as we engage our community of teaching scholars and learn from our peers.
